You know, it's not the ceremonies themselves that get me so much as the symbols. The torches, the gowns, the Alma Mater. Gah. I sort of feel like we're casting a spell that will catapult them all into a different universe, never to be seen again.

Yup, it'll be a weekend full of melodrama. Whatever, it's how I feel. Enjoy.

I was twenty-one years when I wrote this song
I'm twenty-two now but I won't be for long
Time hurries on
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither with the wind
And they crumble in your hands

Once my heart was filled with the love of a girl
I held her close but she faded in the night
Like a poem I meant to write
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither with the wind
And they crumble in your hands

I threw a pebble in a brook
And watched the ripples run away
And they never made a sound
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither with the wind
And they crumble in your hands

Hello hello hello hello
Goodbye goodbye goodbye goodbye
That's all there is
And the leaves that are green turn to brown...

~Simon & Garfunkel

Yes, so it's just now hit me that graduation is TOMORROW and after that things will be Very Different. Meep!

I keep telling myself that this is all for the best. Not that I have much choice, whether it is or not. Time does its thing either way.

Yeah, I'm here. Just don't much feel like blogging. I'll be back at some point. Probably soon, because whenever I post something to say I don't feel like blogging, suddenly I find lots of things to blog about. So we'll see how that works.
