Annotated Bibliography
Due in Class Wednesday, October 27, 1999
Each group should prepare a list of at least 15, but preferably 20, annoted resources for their project to hand in at class Wednesday, October 27.
Annotations should be from one sentence to one paragraph explaining what this resource contributes to your case study.
There are several points to this
exercise:
1. To keep you moving in the search for resources.
2. To give you an opportunity to ask questions. For example, you may have
two sources that contradict each other and may want guidance in sorting out which to use
or trust. Or, you may have read through part of a source and found it difficult to
understand. Feel free to ask for help. You may also include items you found,
but abandoned because they proved to be not useful [your annotation should explain why
they were not useful].
3. It helps me to "look over your shoulders" while you work, and
allows me to suggest ways or sources that might help you.
4. It allows me to make sure you are using the correct referencing formats.
Please consult Formats and Bibliographies of Papers &
Theses for the correct formatting of references.
