1. Compare & contrast your case study with any three others presented by other groups.

2. Compare & contrast steppe frontiers with China and with Russia [Barfield & Khodarkovsky]

3. Compare & contrast the Chinese steppe frontiers with the Roman European frontiers [Barfield & Wells].

4. Based on Wells and the readings in Weber & Rausch what evidences of continuity between Roman and Spanish frontier strategies do you see?
